NGDATA also offers certifications to our Partners to ensure successful planning, deployment, operation and maintenance of our Customer Data Platform. For Partners, certification of individual staff counts toward Partnership level of the company, and benefits available to that Partnership level. Be sure to certify your employees toward the better selling and support of platform users. 

We offer our Academy training programs throughout the year. 

The NGDATA Academy Program contains multiple courses targeted to different user groups and with varying difficulty level.

Upon general request,  we have arranged the dates to accommodate traveling on the same day as starting the training sessions. 

The NGDATA's CDP Introduction 1/2 day introduction session is mandatory to follow before registering/entering any other class. Salespeople also follow this training session before their individual 1/2 day sales training.
 

NGDATA's CDP Introduction [a prerequisite for all other training modules]

This training is an introduction to the NGDATA's CDP product. This training assists all professionals who are starting with our CDP to gain an understanding of the concepts surrounding and incorporated in the platform. This track is a prerequisite for all other training courses. It is an introduction course which enables you to understand what can be accomplished with our CDP. Topics include CDP positioning, basic concepts and basic use case explanation.

Audience: All professionals who are starting with NGDATA's CDP.

Certified Solution Expert

The Certified Solution Expert training is a valuable course that has proven to deliver capabilities in meeting real-world business requirements using NGDATA's CDP. This training deepens the basic CDP knowledge acquired during the Business User Training by elaborating on how to implement basic use cases by configuring the platform in the right way. The participant gets the opportunity to integrate this knowledge by adjusting an existing use case. Furthermore, the participant will learn to extend his knowledge to real-world use cases by implementing a new use case. After this course, the participant should have sufficient knowledge and skills to translate a business use case into a Customer Data Platform solution implementation and understand which use case key factors influence alternative solution designs. Participants undergo testing throughout the program.

Audience: Solution experts and/or consultants with no to limited experience with NGDATA's CDP.

Prerequisites include:

  • Successfully completed the NGDATA's CDP Introduction Training
  • 'Solution architect' skills (generalist rather than specialist)

Certified Data Engineer

The Certified Data Engineer Training program offers data engineers the ability to understand the data process within our Customer Data Platform and how this fits into the client environment. It enables data engineers to manage the key data processes feeding the platform and other business applications. After this course, participants understand how data can be ingested in our CDP (data sources, ETL and ELT), how to go from data to metrics, how to configure metrics for (groups of) customers, products (One Analytics, group DNA), how to uniquely identify customers’ through matching and configure master DNA, how to manage configurations using configuration views, how to exploit DNA to work with BI and analytical applications and support inbound and outbound customer experiences... Participants undergo testing throughout the program.

Audience: Data engineers with no to limited experience with the NGDATA CDP.

Prerequisites include:

  • Successfully completed the NGDATA's CDP Introduction Training
  • Good understanding of database & schema management
  • Working experience with ETL/ELT workflows
  • Basic knowledge of Linux command line
  • Basic knowledge of Python
  • A command line SSH client installed (Putty for Windows users, Linux and Mac users can use the standard SSH client that is already installed)

Certified Systems Engineer

The Certified Systems Engineer Training program offers systems engineers the ability to understand the systems associated with our Customer Data Platform installation and running environment. Topics covered include the deployment architecture, foundations, installation planning, the installation and upgrade process, configuration and tuning, authentication and authorization, operational monitoring (impact of running batch processes on system) and systems maintenance, troubleshooting and support, security, CDP replication and disaster recovery. Participants undergo testing throughout the program.

Audience: System engineers with no to limited experience with NGDATA's CDP.

Prerequisites include:

  • Successfully completed the NGDATA's CDP Introduction Training
  • Basic knowledge of Hadoop and its core components
  • Linux/Unix systems administration experience
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • Optional: Cloudera CCAH certification, Hortonworks HDPCA

Certified Sales Specialist

The Certified Sales Specialist training is for sales professionals who want to learn how to sell our AI-Powered Customer Data Platform. This training guides the sales professional through the CDP sales cycle. In the prospecting phase, learn how to qualify leads. Be prepared for the typical initial meeting: present NGDATA's AI-powered customer data platform and convey our positioning and USPs, demo the platform and give an overview of the overall NGDATA solution. Get to know the typical use cases. Quickly identify customer needs and maturity and determine next steps in the sales cycle. What input do you need to answer an RFI? Learn who to pitch for and how. Know how to draft an RFP.  Other topics include pricing model, client success stories, CDP land and expand strategy, platform Services and support.
